It seems we’ve been so wrapped up on the 2009 revelation of the 21 candidates, which we’ve forgotten about the other events concerning our nation.
Ms. Universe 2008
This is year’s pageant will be held in Vietnam. Our very own Jennifer Barrientos will be competing for the crown. It will be on this Monday, July 14.
2008 Beijing Olympics
Of course, the very famous Olymics! Who can forget that? It will be on 8.8.08 at 8.08 am in the morning. The Philippines has about 15 candidates in 8 different sports
We have a total of 2 silver and 7 bronze medals, and maybe this year we’ll get our gold!
