Fighting Back

Now that our lives aren’t so hectic, hopefully we could get things going again. We’re really sorry if we haven’t posted for a long time now.
Anyway…

It’s been a few weeks passed since the great fall of our wonders. The rankings were never stable at that point. They say that the new found excitement of the world was the cause of this and we should expect it to rattle a lot more times ‘til December. However, after some time losing their spot in the top 10, our wonders have come back with a vengeance!
As of 07-SEP-2008 04:00 GMT, Our Subterranean River is not at the 5th spot, followed by Mayon at the 4th spot. Also the Chocolate Hills is at 7th place, and as for our prized Tubbataha reef, it is at the 12th spot.

This is really great having support pour in when we need it most. At some point it really felt demoralizing seeing the numbers fall. But now, we’ve come back and really to fight on. We should take this as a wake up call and know that we are never safe and we should not stop supporting our candidates.

As much as I wouldn’t want to spoil the celebration of our return to the top, I have to be honest and say that indeed we can do better than this. For example, Tubbataha once reached the 2nd spot, but is now at the 12th spot. We can do it Philippines! Fight on! We aren’t known as the Pearl of the Orient for nothing.
